Farewell
A road that once followed will no longer be a strange road. It will become a road traveled. The true test of any experience is what was learned and what was lost. For this semester the gods of CSS shown a little brighter and revealed a little more of their language of design. The CSS we learned at the start of the semester has been invaluable. I had seen some of it before but there was also a lot of new stuff and i can easily say that without having learned the more advanced CSS concepts that we did the next road would have been an african game trail complete with bushwhackers. The road of javascript has been full of bushwhackers but at least it wasn't an african game trail. I definitely understand the overalls a lot better and i am getting pretty good at manipulating existing code. As far as writing code from scratch i just haven't had the experience necessary to be able to do it without getting blood on the keyboard. But i am happy about what i have learned and i am going to continue on with learning javascript until i am comfortable with at least writing some basic scripts from scratch. As far as the final on monday. It scares me more than my algebra final did.

Blood on the keyboard. Oh that reminds me of Flash. I always wondered why its icon is red. Is it because of the color for Lucifer or how angry it makes me?
Algebra 143 or 108? I think I might do better on a Calculus test with my TI-83 Plus.
Well Mr. D it has been eventful to have you in the class—always a good time. Hope to see you next semester!
Oh and I'll keep my eyes open for an Apple Cube, cannot not beat $50. I'll let you know what I find!
The more advanced CSS stuff was definitely useful, but I still wish we could've had more time with JavaScript. It bothers me that the semester's over and I haven't really got it down. It feels like when the projector breaks half way through a movie, and you don't get to see the end. It's just unfinished.
But I have to agree with Jason. Blood on the keyboard is much more of a Flash thing. When JavaScript doesn't work I know it's probably my fault. When Flash doesn't work, I have absolutely no idea why. Could be me, could be the program, could be that Jupiter's aligned with Mars that day. Who knows.
i gotta agree with the blood statement, it doesn't really hit me with flash i seem to be pretty good with it. but with JS i'm supprised i dont have blood on my books yet from smacking myself in the head in frustration. i also wish we had more time on this...like maybe an actual class not just an hour of help every week, now i know i didn't come to all of them but i will be there tomorrow now that i actually remember if i don't sleep in again.
on the note of blood on the keyboard with flash, i was helping Mercedes after class on Wednesday, 36 hours awake and still trying to get her site to work i helped her till 4:30 still couldn't figure out what was wrong with some of the stuff.i thought she was about to crash right onto her laptop.
Blood. No blood here but I almost didn't have my book or notebook after the first few days of JavaScript.
I am also concerned about the test. I really wish the JavaScript gods would have listed to my prayers, but we will all face it with our heads high and hopefully we will all come out of it without blood on the keyboard.
Good luck on the test.
Rage! Show me your rage! Let it boil to the surface! Let your fury flow freely!
*cough* Anyway, yeah I'm scared about the final, but we do have time after Flash. That's when we should all get together and study. I'm sure almost the entire class can put their minds together to overcome this obstacle.
I have to say that it was awesome having you in the class. I think that I had more of a chance to get to know you with this class than any other that we've had together. So for that, I have to say that I really like JavaScript. ;)
I liked the CSS at the beginning of the semester too, but I wish that we'd spent less time on it, as much of it was review, and worked longer with that first section of JavaScript.
Flash? Red icon? Definately bloody! Hehe.
Have a good holiday!

I feel the same. I know how to alter code and understand it once I read it, but I am a long way from being able to write it from scratch.
